Tom Novak’s V8 Powered Motorcycles.

The sidewinder bike is my own, originally built it in 1975, have used every driveline imagineable over the years. The Harley trans is the best thing I ever ran. It’s just more fun to shift all those gears and you can gear it to idle down the highway and still got a good low gear off the line. So far the rear masterlink is the only thing that I can break, it’s like having a fuse in the driveline. I’m sure I could bust the trans with some sloppy shifts but can do that with a Harley too. I don’t build these for comfort or practicality. I just like making a hot rod out of it using good old speed parts. The bike feels way lighter than a Harley bagger when you pick it up but is not comfortable and I don’t care. Just a hot rod.
