Born as Evgeny Schmidt on February 24, 1972, in Omsk, Russia, he’s nicknamed himself after the former Soviet scientist Otto Yulyevich Schmidt. If you don’t know too much about him, Otto started at Disney, then worked for Marvel but is probably best known for his work for DC Comics on Green Arrow, as well as his excellent cover for Suicide Squad #20.
