Before my trip to Grand Canyon, I decided to do some research on what to do and don’t do when visiting GC. At first, Google dropped a ton of Grand Canyon links on me but after while somehow I’ve found myself reading about Antelope Canyon and finally ended up at this page looking at the effect of beautifully done photomanipulation by Christopher Dormoy.
I could say that I’ve found that page by mistake but, as Bob Ross used to say, “We don’t make mistakes; we just have happy accidents.”
Marriage Of Beauty And… Beauty
Spectacular use of double impression.
Double exposure is combining two images (with artistic intent) into one, where one image is overlaid onto another at less than full opacity. This can be done in-camera in some cases when it’s available as a creative effect or in post-processing using photoshop or in apps explicitly designed to make digital double exposures.

Christopher Dormoy has explained how during a trip to Arizona-Utah, he had the opportunity to visit Antelope Canyon. Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon in the American southwest. it is located on Navajo land east of Page, Arizona. A magnificent and magical place where nature, by its creativity, surprises us in all ways.

The shapes and lines formed in the rock by erosion create a surreal and magical universe. After having the opportunity to make a photography session with the actress Myriam Côté, he decided to marry, in double impression, the curves of her face with the Antelope Canyon environment.
